Over the past 30 years a host of scientists have provided ground-breaking research that consistently points to the same conclusion: that we were designed by nature for a way of living and a way of eating, that has almost disappeared from our culture.
Sandi Rechenmacher presents Dr. Neal Barnard's (PCRM-Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine) Food for Life (FFL) Diabetes Initiative program featuring cutting edge research as the basis of healthy lifestyles, preventing and surviving other chronic diseases well (Obesity, Cancer, Heart Disease) along with new healthy culinary tricks and short cuts.
This series will have a Diabetes Prevention & Weight LOSS Focus and is designed for those with any of these issues, their friends, family, and anyone wanting to learn about 'PREVENTION as the best medicine.'
FFL students will learn to identify which foods bolster one’s immune system and those that do not… and WHY and HOW this is. While debunking nutritional myths, the class will focus on navigating the pop culture to enjoy a most vibrant, healthy Quality of Life. Noticeable side effects: weight loss and joyful living.
